The estate, room by room. Official screenshots from Rusty Lake.

Day 1 Morning — the courtyard. Two tin cups and an unpaid driver.

The entrance hall — the maid, and Rustie on the armchair.

Day 1 Night — the attic, the crow, and the chest with the stars.

Day 1 Evening — the reunion, seen the way a servant sees it.

Day 2 Afternoon — the hunt. One missed shot ends the achievement.

Day 3 — sorting the specimens for the alchemy.
Five things to know before you start
- 1
The game runs on three in-game days. You cannot skip a day, and most tasks must be done in a fixed order.
- 2
When a scene will not advance, the missing step is almost always an item you have not picked up yet — sweep the room before you re-try the puzzle.
- 3
Hidden achievements are triggered by doing the *wrong* thing deliberately (feeding the goat, failing the exercises). Grab them on your first pass; a second playthrough is not required.
- 4
One three-digit code — the luggage in the garden — is randomised per playthrough. Shake the baby basket and listen; no guide can give you that number.
- 5
The final secret, "You've found him!", only starts after the credits. Do not chase it before you finish Day 3.
Servant of the Lake FAQ
+How long is Servant of the Lake?
It is built as three in-game days. Rusty Lake's premium titles typically run a single evening, and this one is in the same range — most players finish the main route in one sitting. Chasing all 49 Steam achievements adds a second pass.
+Is this walkthrough spoiler-free?
Every page carries a spoiler level in its header — none, light, or heavy. Puzzle pages give you the solution and nothing about the story around it, so you can unstick yourself without reading ahead.
+Do the demo and the Lite version share solutions with the full game?
The demo covers the opening slice of Day 1, so those puzzle solutions carry over exactly. Content past the demo is unique to the paid release.
+Is the walkthrough complete?
Day 1 is documented step by step. Day 2 and Day 3 are complete for every puzzle we could verify against more than one source; anything we could not confirm is labelled "to be confirmed" on the page rather than guessed at.
